Madeira Compass was founded by two professionals with a shared conviction: that buyers entering a new real estate market deserve independent, expert guidance — not a commission-driven intermediary managing both sides of the table.

The advisory was born from years of first-hand experience navigating Madeira's property landscape: from the complexity of off-market acquisitions to the practicalities of residency, renovation, and rental operations. Every engagement we take on is informed by that direct knowledge.

We are not agents. We hold no AMI licence and take no commissions from vendors or developers. Our fee is paid by the client, and our loyalty is undivided.

We operate on a buyer's advocate model: retained by the client, fee-only, with no commission relationship with any seller, developer, or lending institution. We manage a curated network of partner professionals — lawyers, notaries, surveyors, architects, accountants — on your behalf, acting as your single point of contact across the full transaction lifecycle.

Those partners are carefully chosen; relationships built over years of on-the-ground work in Madeira. They are not publicly named. The differentiation they offer is delivered through us, not around us — which protects the quality of your service and the confidentiality of your transaction.

Each engagement is handled personally. We do not operate as a volume business, and we do not take on more clients than we can serve well at any one time.
